The Marist Brothers’ High School held its annual road race under wintry conditions. but this did not dampen the enthusiasm of the boys as they cheered their houses to victory. House points: St. Francis 84, St. Paul’s 69. St. Joseph’s 35, St. Peter's 22. Intermediate: R. Zaloum (J[min) 1, M. Fanning (lmin) 2; latest time, N. Callahan (10.37, record). House points: St. Peter’s 82, A. Paul’s 48, St. Joseph’s 44, St. Francis 36. Seniors: IL O’Neill (2jmin) 1, E. Sinclair (2min) 2; fastest time, N. Horgan (12.52). House points: St. Joseph's 80.
