The combined branches of the Labour Party held a most successful dance in the A.N.A. ballroom. This was the second function of its kind' and on both occasions—the hall was filled to its capacity and many pleasing _ comments were expressed. As the function was a request dance it testified that the public appreciated the efforts of the Labour Party. A splendid orchestra and capable M.C. added to its success. An excellent supper was provided under the capable supervision of the ladies' committee.
