PAIIIATUA RESOLUTION,
(Press Assn.) PAHIATUA, Dec. 23. The Pahiatua branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union passed a resolution expressing complete lack of confidence in the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Barclay), alleging that, instead of being the guardian of tho farmers’ interests, he had demonstrated lie was actively opposed to them. The resolution Continued : Ihe Minister administering the portfolio of Agriculture should bo selected bi'cae-'i of an understanding of and sympathy with the farmers’ way of life.
