POWER HOUSE ACCIDENT

While working at the Mangahao power house this morning, Mr H. It. El worthy, of Baring Street. Bunnythorpe, met with an accident as the result of which he is at present in the Palmerston North Hospital suffering from abrasions, burns and shock. The shock was severe, hut Mr Flworthy’a companions quickly began resuscitation work and he was revived in about a quarter of an hour after there appeared to be little hope for bun. Ihe commendable promptitude will, which the men began their task and the manner in which it was successfully carried out arc being highly praised by the department's officials.
