CEASELESS MASSACRES
(9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 27. The New York Times, commenting on the report that the known Nazi executions havo reached the almost incredible figure of 207,373, says, “Never has there been frightfulness like ih in history. The Nazi massacres, carried out in passionless discipline, never cease; they follow the clock. “For the first time one nation is attempting deliberately to. decimate the population of the Continent. The conquerors, apparently baulked everywhere by the growing resistance, are determined to leave, in the graves of these martyrs, at least one monument to tho new order in Europe.” A Berne messngo reports that the Neuzuereher Zeitung states that a girl student and four others were executed at Zagreb, Yugoslavia, on a charge of spreading Communistic propaganda. A London report states that seven more Germans have been beheaded for high treason and undermining the morale of tho German people.
