After being at liberty for 24 houre two youths who escaped from the Borstal Institution at Invercargill on Monday night were caught and appeared on a charge of unlawfully escaping from_ custody, being remanded. The condition of the warder, Mr Steele, who was attacked by one of the escapees, had improved yesterday but was si ill serious. The youths are Thomas Paull Angoll, aged 17, and Peter Lawrence Samson, aged 18.
