MELODY DANCES

There have been excellent attendances at the week-end dances held by the Mclodv Dance Club in the P.DiC. Jade ballroom and conducted by Winifred R. Hubbard. Those present spent very happy and enjoyable evenings amongst beautiful surroundings, features being pretty frocking worn by the numerous, ladies, and the presence of many members of military and Air Force who enjoyed the variety of modern and old-timo dancing. A professional orchestra supplied delightful music of the very latest, while appreciated extras were kindly p!ayed by Mr Oliver. The duties of M.C. were efficiently carried out by Mr J. W. Beck. The next Melody dances will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings in the P.D.C. ballroom. An excellent programme and a good time are assured for all, including the best of suppers.
