LONDON, July 27.
The 8.8. C. observer in Cairo says that General Auchinleck's latest attack began at 3 a.m. and lasted all day. He cautions against overemphasising the importance of the attack. One of our fighter squadrons over the desert to-day was attacked by ■ M Stukas accompanied by Me. s. Our planes shot down ono Stuka and one Me and drove tho others off.
