(Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, April IS An appeal for the increased production of New Zealand flax has been made by the Minister of Supply (Mr Sullivan) who said this commodity was urgently required both for important war and other essential work in New Zealand and also in the raited Kingdom. An appeal was being made to all millers to strive at a considerably increased output. In order to secure increased quantities of green leaf, said the Minister, it might be necessary to go further afield for supplies and arrangements had been made in such a contingency to meet the extra costs involved" by' an adjustment of selling prices. .
