(Roc. 1.65 p.m.) RUGBY, Mar 20. It- was learned in London this alteinoon that H.A.F. bombers, escorted by fighters, attacked objectives in Northern France, all the bombers returning safely. Further reports of the operations are not yet available. \ second enemy aircraft was dcstrored over Britain last night. Ihe south-east coast town which was the object of last night’s bombing raid ivas Dover, in which area it uas inported the first enemy bomber announced as destroyed was brought down by the efforts of a night fighter and the Home Guard.—Official Wireless.
