HAMPERED BY WEATHER. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Rcc. 12.10 p.m.) RUGBY r , Jan. 19In Libya yesterday operations were again greatly curtailed by continuous bad weather. During Saturday night our bomber aircratt raided enemy motor transport on the roads east and west of Sirte.
An objective at Tripolitania was also attacked, bombs bursting near the port and fires breaking out at the railway station.
An Melo9 not previously claimed is now known to have been destroyed by our fighters near El Agheila. Enemy aircraft raided Malta yesterday some damage being caused to civilian property. During the night of Saturday-Sunday a JllBB crashed on the island, the crew being killed. From these and other operations one of our ’ aircraft is missing.—Official Wireless.
