HALCOMBE

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The death has occurred of Mrs Esther Cox after a severe illness .which was borne with a patience that characterised her whole life. Born at Ryton-on-Tync. ills Cox ramo to New Zealand in 1912 and during her residence in llaleonibe her genial manner and kindly disposition won for her many friends who will regret her passing. The funeral took place at the Kelvin Cirove cemetery. She is survived by two daughters. Mrs P. J. Ilanifan and Miss Myrtle Cox (1 InIoombe), and two sons, Mcsrss Albert. (Woodvi'le) and Jack, who is a prisoner-of-war.
