Results: — WAKARI HURDLES, of £l5O. One mile and a half.—l-1 Merry Simon, 10.8 (I*. Boyle) 1; 4-2 Mosgicl, 9.5, 2; 3-3 Colonel Rouge, 9.0, 3. All started. Two lengths each way. Time, 2.44. NOVICE HANDICAP, of £l2O. Six furlongs.—l 3-7 Mae West, 8.3 (A. Messervv) 1; 3-2 Compeer, 8.6, 2; 14-14 Nihil, 7.10, 3. Ser: Overland Red, True Mate. Half a length; two lengths. Time, 1.18. The winner’s dividend was in the vicinity of half a century.
KAIKORAI HANDICAP, of £175. Six furlongs.—l-1 Counterluneli, 9.1 (R. JMaekic) 1; 5-2 Desert Maid, 8.10, 2; 3-4 Egyptian Rose, 8.10, 3. Scr: Kohara. Half a head; two lengths. Time, 1.15 2-5.
