(Rec. 11.30 a.m.) liUGBV, Oct. 12. Mr A. Greenwood (Minister without portfolio), making a speech at Blackburn, said: “A lew uays ago Hitler made a speech to the German people. It could not have been intended to impress us or our AJlies. “Its object was to put new heart into his subjects. His tone was sombre and subdued. He knows the tremendous losses tlie Germans have sustained, hut he was at great pains to prevent them becoming known to the German people, because he fears the reaction it would produce. But we cannot close our eyes to the weighty of Hitler’s new attack.” —Oihciai Wireless.
