PRISON SENTENCE.

HORSE TRAINER FAILS TO REPORT. Noel Steven Yoitre, horse trainer, of Palmerston North, was charged in the Magistrate's Court to day with tailing to report under the National Service Emergency Regulations. Sergt.Major R. .1. Miles, a witness lor the Army Department, stated that defendant had been ordered to proceed to camp on three occasions and had failed, to do so. He bad been making statements around town that he “would not be dragged to camp.” A sentence of six weeks' imprisonment was imposed by Mr H. P. Lawrv, S.M. Lieut. K. G. Chamberlain conducted the case for tbe department. Defendant did not appear in Court.
