Arranged by the [''eliding Old Boys Football Club a match between the Manchester and L.ytton Streets School Rugby learns was held at Johnston Park on Saturday. Lytton Street winning by 17 points to 3. Mr F. J. Ga/.c (headmaster of Manchester Street) thanked the Old Boys’ Club for arranging the match. Later in the afternoon, spectators were treated lo another match in which most of the senior footballers in Feilding took part. Mr L. Rutherford acted as referee and the game was between Centurians and The Rest. Centurions won by 22 points to 13. Mr W. Carter was responsible for the organisation.
