RANGIWAHIA SKI CLUB
The Rangiwahia Ski Club held its end-of-season social this week, when Mr G. C. Petersen, the president, reported on the progress of the club and Mr D. Macpherson, the patron, presented the trophies to the following members: Men’s championship, A. J. Beattie (Peter G. Cope Cup); ladies’ championship, Mrs A. J. Beattie (Duncan Macpherson Cup); slalom championship, K. McKenzie (Club Cup); downhill handicap, P. Cimino (Hallenstcin Bros. Cup); ladies’ novice, Miss J. Johnson; men’s novice, S. Leonard--Taylor. Mr A. Bayliss showed some very interesting coloured travel and local films.
