Manawatu Club.—To-morrow members will play the L.U.U. silver and bronze medal and in conjunction a points competition. The draw is at the clubhouse, and anyone unable to play is requested to ring Mrs J. C. Young (telephone 5686) before 10.30 a.m. Palmerston North Club.—At Awatapu on Saturday the A and B grades will play a points and Stableford bogey competition and the C . grade a scaled handicap competition. The draw is in the clubhouse and anyone unable to play is to ring Mrs T. K. Fraser (telephone No. 7064) before 11 a.m. Hawke’s Bay championship.—Holding the lead throughout, Mrs Newton (Wanganui) beat Mrs Cross, 5 and 4, yesterday, and won the Hawke's Bay championship conducted by tlio Napier Ladies’ Golf Club.
