MISHAP TO JOCKEY.
(Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, Aug. 2. When the hurdler Naial crashed at the last obstacle during training operations at Ellerslie to-dav, lie threw his rider, If. T’urvey, against the inside rail of the course, breaking Turvcy’s leg. Dr A. McGregor Grant, who was watching his own horse, I’ertinax, schooling, treated Turvey in the ambulance room before ho was sent to hospital.
