The Associated Auctioneers report on the Raiding sale as lollows:—In the tat sheep section a full yarding tamo forward and the demand was much firmer thaw lias been the. ca.so at recent pules, especially lot- fat ewes. In the store sheep section I the yarding was light, hut prices reuiain- , ed on a par with recent sales. Thoro ua.s a very light yarding of station cattle, one pen ot L'.A. cows r.w. l'.A. bull bringing' £5 9s. In the dairy cattle section a.n average yarding was offered, and for anything showing quality \aiues woie fully firm, but backward sorts were not keenly sought alter. .Springing heifers showed a [marked improvement, as buyers from out sido districts were operating. There was just an average yarding of beef, but this was of good quality and prices were considerably higher than of recent date.
