MARKET REPORT.
Tlip Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report receiving a capacity yarding ol pigs at their sale on 'j hursday, and to a good attendance of buyers a total clearance was made at satisfactory rates; porkers were in demand and sold readily at a par with last week's values. Poultry showed a decided improvement in price, pood liens realising to 5s 5d each and pullets to Us. In the fruit and produce section cab bages and cau.'iilowers were a little easier ill price, but there was an improvement in the price of carrots and parsnips. They quote:—Pigs: Host weaners, 15s to 451; small, 10s to 14s 6d; slips, to 245; heavy "tores, 29s 6d to 355; light, 19s to 255"; porkers, £2 to £2 ss, £2 7s, £2 9s to £2 14s; breeding boar, £3; tow and Liter, passed in at £6 10s. Poultry: Best heavy liens, 5s to 5s sd; best W.L liens, 3s 6d to 4s 6d; light hens, 2s 9d to 3s 3d; cockerols, 4s Od to 6s; light cockerels, 2s 6d to 33 6d; pullets, 5s 3d to 3.-; ducks, 4s to 4s 6d. Produce: Grapefruit, lis to 12s; celery, 15s to 22s per ease; cauliflowers. 6s to lis per sack; cabbage.-, drumhead, 6s to 3s per case; savoy, 5s to 7s 6d per sack; Brussels sprouts," 6d to B£d per lb.; lettuce, 12s to 15s per case; carrots, 10s to 13s 3d per cuko; beetroot; 5s to 3s per case; spinach, 30s 6d to 12s 9d per case; pumpkins, 6s to 10s per sack ; marrows, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per case; while turnips, 6d to 9d i>er bundle; radishes, 6d to 9d per bundle; leeks 7s to 9s 6d; rhubarb, 7s to 10s per doz. ; swedes, 4s to 4s 9d per sack; spring cabbage, 2s 6d to 3s 6d per cast; onion.,, 12s 6d to 14s per cental; potatoes, 14s to 15s per ewl.
