Although it was provided in regulations gazetted la-t year that drivers of motor vehicles who allowed their licenses to lapse for throe months would be required to undergo a driving test before being issued with another license, it is now unlikely that this provision will be enforced, at least until the end of the war. —Press Association
In the Magistrate’s Court at Timaru, John Joseph Graham Young, manager of the Timaru branch of an assurance society, pleaded guilty to seven charges of failing to account for money received on behalf of the society thereby committing theft. The total amount , involved was <1486 15s 2d. Accused was committee for sentence. —Press Association.
