PUPILS’ ENTERTAINMENT
I A varied programme of entertainment wan presented by pupils of Miss Evelyn Rawlins, tlieir ages ranging from seven to 12 years, to parents and friends in St. Andrew's schoolroom recently. Following the National Anthem given as a trio by Shirley Melton, Gladys Bell and Xola McKenzie, the percussion band, consisting of N'eil Anderson, John Riddle, John (.'ratvford, Bryan Matthews; (triangles), Christina and Butte Crawford (tambourines), Milton Collier and Max MeDowall (castanets), Charles Bell (cymbals), James Biddle and David Mummery (drums) contributed two items. Pianoforte solos were presented by Yvonne Peach. James Kiddle, Jocelyn Thompson. Margaret Black, Heather MeDonell, Pender Ayers, Elizabeth Boxes, Max MeDowall, Christine Crawford, Margaret Tremaine, Oladxs Bell, Elza Charles, Nola McKenzie and Shirley Melton. Pianoforte duets were contributed by Elizabeth Boyce and Kaywin Firth, .Virgarct Young and partner, Christine and Bette Crawford, Gwen West weed and Gladys Bell. Tout Kilsbv and Graham Kirk, Stephen and Desmond Barbridge. A vocal solo by I leather McDonell provided further variation, and items by the percussion band concluded the programme. Dr ]■'. ]].
