WOMEN’S WORLD

(By “Nanette.”)

Mrs E Stuart, of Munson Street, is at present a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital.

A motion ol sympathy with Mrs W. Mouldey in the illness of her husband was carried at this week’s gathering of the Featherston Street, Bridge Club, when good wishes were expressed lor Mr Mouldey’s return to health. At the residence of Mrs ,J. Pointon, Featherston Street, members of the Fcathorstoa Street Bridge Club stood in silence as a mark of respect to the memory of the late Mrs C. A. Bierre. Mrs Bierre had been a member for the past eight years and was interested in having all the club’s funds devoted to charity, this having been faithfully carried out. Her bright disposition and cheery word for everyone will be sadly missed by fellow members.
