The yield is easily tho highest of any of the 117.015 cows tested by tho Auckland Herd Improvement Association during the 1940-41 season. A record both in membership and ;q.erago butterfat production a cow was established during tho past season, said iUr S. J. Sheaf, genoral manager of tho Auckland Herd Improvement Association in a review of tho past year’s progress. Altogether 122,000 cows, representing 2070 herds, had been tested, whilo flic average production a cow was 277.751 b of fat in 256 days.
