RUAHINE TRAMPING CLUB.
The Ruahino Tramping- Club’s *nnual dance held in the Orange Hall, vas well attended. Posters, skis, packs and other tramping equipment, together with streamers in the club colours (blue, gold and silver) provided realistic decorative effects The arrangements were in the hands of a committee consisting of Miss T. Howard (secretary,), frockcd in petunia taffeta; Mrs H. Hatwcli, floral silk: Miss B. Stevens, black ; .e not over satin : Messrs A. Zcinert (president), O. Jones, A. Cutler and 11. Hatwell. Under the capable direction of Mr C. Jones, a programme of old-time and modern dances was entered into with much enjoyment, to spirited music by an orchestra. Mr 1). Rabono contributed music for extra dances. There were novelty numbers to add to the gaiety. Musical honours were accorded Air B. Ilarkness, who will shortly be going overseas, and Air Zcinert took the opportunity to extend to him the best wishes of the club.
