I FEILDING STOCK SALE. LAMBS IX DEMAND. At the Ecilding slock sale yesterday tlicre was a keen demand for ewe and wether lambs and the market was fully linn on last week’s rates. Despite a heavy offering of mutton, both wethers and ewes sold | well and prices showed a rising tendency. I Station cattle, however, were somewhat 1 neglected and prices for the lines sold at I auction were lower than those recently H quoted. The fat cattle section was smaller B than usual, but prices for the ex-dairy and I station-bred beef were firm at late rates, i Tho dairy cattle (prices quoted yestcr- | day) were poor iu condition and conseI quently tho prices allowed a drop comparI cd with recent sales.
