DEATH FOR LISTENING.
i LONDON. May 21. I The first execution in Germany for listening to foreign broadcasts was carried out at Nuremberg on May 17, states a correspondent of the Times on the German frontier.
The victim was Johann Wild, aged 4S, who was beheaded after an emergency court trial at which it was stated that lie had spread news relating to Rudolf Hess. Hitler's deputy, who fled to Scotland.
