(Rec. 12 noon.) CANBERRA, May 20. The Comnionwealth’s £35,000,000 war loan lias closed. It was over-subscribed by £750,000. Air A. Fadden (actingPremier) stated that the whole amount would he used for war purposes; nearly 52.000 individual subscriptions wore received.
