AGENTS AT WORK. LONDON, May 19. 2Nc\ys from Syria indicates that the infiltration of German “tourists” into the country is continuing.
ihe main preoccupation of these German ,a.ge.nts at the 'moment is spreading lies and rumours apt to upset the civil population. There are also reports that the road from .Beirut to Palestine has been mined.
In the meantime the R.A.F. continues to deliver attacks oil the Ger-man-occupied aerodromes throughout the country.
SITUATION UNCHANGED. (British Official Wireless.) (Rcc. 11.(5 a.in.) RUGBY, May 19. A communique issued at General Headquarters, Cairo, says there is no change in the situation at Basra and Habbaniyeh.
Bombing attacks have been made on the Palmyra aerodrome, where large German transport aircraft were damaged; on the Damascus aerodrome, and Rayak, which was also machinegunned. Raids were also made on the Raschid aerodrome, Iraq.
