ROTARY CLUB.

Rotariau H. T. Thomas, oi Auckland, was the speaker at the weekly luncheon of the Palmerston North Rotary Club to-day, his subject being "British and American Co-operation in Federal Union.” The speaker traced the advantages claimed tor such union and stated that he had made a very full stud v of it. He was accorded thanks on Rev. J. Hubbard's motion. A five-tninute “thtinilt-nail sketch” of Japan was given by Rotarian M. H. Oram. The visitors to the club were M< W. Whitehead (Wellington). A. Nielson (Havelock North). D. K. Parlon (A uckla yd), W-. T. .laggard. N. Hardie, and Rev. Clarence Eaton.
