Miss Jean Waters, of Hastings, is the guest of Miss K. O’Connor, of Ferguson Street.

Miss J. Kelly, of Wellington, lias been staying with Mr and Mrs G. 13. Cope, of Albert Street. Miss Lorraine Major, of the Broadway School of Dancing, returned yesterday from Nelson, where she has | been judging the dancing section in the annual competitions festival. An enjoyable flannel dance was held in the Palmerston North Tennis Club's pavilion on Saturday evening. The organisers were Dr. A. de Berry and Mr J. Cope and there was a large attendance.
