IN KAIHANCA COUNTY. Estimates for the year were approved at the meeting of the Kairanga County Council yesterday when it was decided to strike the same rates as last year, these in the general account being:—Taonui riding. 53/100 of Id in £; Mangaone, 66/100; Fitzherbert, 1 1/20; hospital, 53/100. Special rates are also the same as last year. Estimated receipts are as follow: General account, £9170 15s 6d; Taonui riding, £5521 15s 6d; Mangaone riding. £6199 12s 8d; Fitzherbert riding, £slOl 6s -Id; Hospital, £6155 Ss 2d.
