FOXTON BEACH

TOWNSHIP PLAN

At the March meeting of tlic Manawatu County Council, the clerk (Mr A. K. Drew) and the engineer (Mr H. V. Bond) were instructed to report on tile proposed l''oxton Beach township plan. Mr Drew, at yesterday's meeting ol the council, stated that there were departmental questions to be discussed and he and Mr Bond were of the opinion that before they reported to the council the departments concerned should be approached. There were several questions to be decided, and if they reported to the council they might be ruled out of order. If the council agreed to their recommendations, these would lie subject, to any decision made by the departments. It was decided that no action be taken in the meantime.
