Mrs Charles Shann and Miss Barbara Shan u are on holiday at National Park and llotorua.
Misses A. and M. Fraser, who have been undergoing training for the nursing profession at the Dunedin Hospital during the past twelve months, are spending a vacation with their parents; Mr and Mrs T. Fraser, ltongotea. Mrs F. Ayckbourn, of New Plymouth, Dominion secretary of the New Zealand, branch of the English Folk Dance and Song Society, has been the guest of Mr and Mrs B. L. Elphick, of Church Street, and has now gone to Nelson for the winter vacation school for country dancing.
