MR HOOVER'S ATTITUDE. (12.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, May.ll. Mr Herbert Hoover, in a nationwide broadcast, said he favoured the supplv of war materials to Britain but was opposed to entry into the wai and the use of the American Navy. He said America was totally unprepared and the people were not united.
