Because of the inclemency of the weather this morning the mass parade of the Home Guard arranged for this afternoon did not eventuate.
Prices for poultry and pigs at the Fciidings auction mart yesterday were:—Hen?. h 5d to 2s lid; pullets, 6s 3d; cockerels, Is 3d to, 4s 5d ; ducks, 2s 3d to 3s. Pig.- : Small weoners, 5; 6d to 9>; small slips, 12s to 16s 6d; stores, £1 Os 6d to £1 ss; ;ows, £2 to £2 10s, sow and litter, £3 7s 6ci.
