SCHOOL FOOTBALL
Rughv football teams from Prtv! Manchester Street, Lytlon Street and Convent Sei*cls engaged in a soven-a-sido tournament yesterday at Johnston Park, .Manchester and Lytton Street Schools, 'there were nine senior ami nine junior teams. Tho standard of football was good, and as a result of the try-out Lyiton Stieec and Manchester Street Schools will enter throe senior and three junior teams and the Convent School a senior team in tho regular schools competition this season. Tho country schools will not participate because of difficulty in arranging transport.
