Reserve Bank.—The sterling exchange funds of the Reserve Bank last Monday stood at ■ £20,515,776. an increase for the week of £432,368. The hank's net overseas assets at £20.500,74:; have also increased by £432,368. The note issue totalled £21.853,928, a decrease of £47.873. Advances to" the State Marketing Department at £;;.1<(>.549 have increased by £175,789. while advances to the State for other purposes are unchanged at £15,500,000.
