In the Magistrate's Court, to-day. before Messrs A. Headland and G. AI. Ranson, J.P.’s, a man whose name was suppressed, faced two charges of indecent assault. Detective-Sergeant A. B. Meiklejohn conducted the case for flic police and Mr A. M. Ongley appeared for accused. After evidence bad been heard, accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed in a personal recognisance of £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
