ENGINEERING RESEARCH

(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 29. Lord Hankcv will be chairman of an engineering advisory committee to be set up to advise the Government on engineering questions connected with the war effort. The committee includes Lord (Governor of the Imperial College of Science and Technology), Sir H. 'lizard (rector of the same college), and seven other members.

The committee will first consider the! resources of the engineering profession | and nominate engineers, suggest im- : proyements in method, advise on new j devices and their production, and examine and test ideas and report to the Government.
