LOCAL ELECTIONS

PROBABLE CANDIDATES. In connection with the local body elections in Feilding, it is understood that all the councillors will be offering their services again with the exception of Cr V. J£. Smith, who lias had 20 years’ service. Mr T. If. Fitzgerald, it is understood, will be a nominee for a seat on the council. It is likely that Mr P. G. Guy will contest the Feilding seat on the Palmerston North Hospital Board against Mr Smith, who has rendered 14 years’ service on the board.
