NEW AWARD DELAYED
(Press Assn.) GPLYMOUTH, Apr. 30. Information from a well-informed quarter indicates that grave dissatisfaction exists amongst gold dredge workers on the West Coast as a result of the delay in making a new award bv tbe Arbitration Court, which heard the application two months ago. It is stated that, unless something definite is done by tbe Court or the Government, within a few days,* it is possible that tho union will consider action which may drastically affect the smooth working of the industry, which employs four to five hundred men. A telegram has been sent to the Minister of Labour urging immediate action in connection with a new award.
