ST. ANDREW’S GUILD
At the monthly meeting of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild on Thursday Mrs J. Murray presided in place of Mrs M. Aitchison, who sent an apology for unavoidable absence. New members welcomed were Mesdames Grant, Fraser, and Wells. The hostesses were Mesdames Irwin, C. Fraser, and S. Bradfield and the helpers Mesdames J. Mitchell, A. Clark, W. J. Clark. J. Bird, E. Beatson, Spilman. and E. A. Cooper. Songs were given by Mesdames H. Greenwood (accompanied by Mrs R. Donald) and Mrs Tleggie. (accompanied by Mrs B. F. Barlow), and Donald Irwin (accompanied by Mrs. Irwin). Rev. W. M. Garner gave an interesting talk on the constellations in relation to their religions significance, a vote of thanks beink conveyed by Mrs C. Fraser.
