(lice. 11.10 a.m.) RUGBY, April 25. A Cairo Press message states that Major-General O'Connor who was recently taken prisoner by the Italians, and Lieutenant-Colonel Combe have been located in 'Central Italy.
Malta was raided on April 23. Our fighters intercepted the enemy and in the ensuing combat one of our aircraft was lost. No material damage was caused. Mr Churchill is to broadcast at 8 p.m. G.M.T. on Sunday (8 a.m. Monday New Zea -uid time).
(Rec. 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 24. The Independent French Agency says reports from Instanbul state that British troops have arrived in Mosul (Northern Iraq). A German communique-estates that Portsmouth was raided last night.
