An Admiralty communique states: “A heavily-laden oil tanker of over 10,000 tons lias been torpedoed and sunk by the British submarine Urge while endeavouring to run the blockade.” This submarine is not listed in Jane’s “Fighting Ships,” but it is understood to be one of the Navy’s new “baby” type. The Daily Telegraph’s naval correspondent says it can now be revealed that iI.M.S. Prince of Wales, sister ship of the King George A’., has joined the Fleet.
