OLD SURREY'S CONDITION.

When Old Surrey broke down during the running of the Kairanga Hurdles, the seat of the trouble was found to be the off fore tendon. It is.thought lie sustained the injury about three furlongs from home and he is unlikely to race again for a long time. This was particularly unfortunate for Mr L. If. Collinson, as the gelding was going very well at the time and looked like playing an important part in the finish of the race.
