MR EDEN'S ESCAPE.

(Rec. 1.10 p.m.) LONDON, March 21. The Foreign Secretary (Mr Eden) narrowly avoided an encounter with Italian fighter planes while flying over the Mediterranean from Egypt to Cyprus last week, says the Express's Istanbul correspondent. On the approach of enemy fighters the pilot dived out of the way and then R.A.F. planes appeared on the scene and drove the Italians off.
