TWO MEN DROWNED.

CAPSIZE OF DINGHY. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, March 14. Two Bluff men were drowned in Preservation Inlet late on Wednesday night through a dinghy capsizing in a heavy wind. News of the accident reached Bluff early this morning, when the fishing vessel Aurora arrived in port with the bodies of the men. The victims were:— , Esmond Ericson, single, aged 21. Frank Huia Moss, single, aged 34. The accident occurred about 11 o’clock on Wednesday night. Messrs Ericson and Moss and Paul McQuarrie had been ashore from the Aurora, on which they were employed, to visit a gold prospector, and when they were returning to the vessel the dinghy capsized. Mr McQuarrie was rescued but the other two were drowned.
