Won easily by four lengths; half- a head. Time, 1.285. Saha Bona was fourth. THOMPSON HANDICAP, of £IOOO. Ono mile. —4-4 Augment 7.5 (S. Waddell), 1; 9-8 Doria 8.0 (At Messervy), 2; 3-3 Don’t Forget ear. 7.11 l (L. Ellis), 3. Scratched; Enrich, Hoarth, Gold Dale, Sparkle, Kentucky. Two and: a-hnlf lengths; half a length. Time, 1.44 J. The Ring was fourth. MOSAIC RETURNS TO FORM. (Roc. 8.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 13. At the Rosoberry races yesterday, Mosaic, after a long spell, galloped his way into prominence for important autumn races by winning the Rosoberry Handicap in the race record time of 1.384. The Lirharcli filly Lady Limarch, who has been a consistent plaeo-gettcr lalcly, won the Fourteen-Two Handicap. The New Zealander Proud Fox shaped satisfactorily in his first race since coming to Australia, participating in the Flying Handicap, of 64 furlongs, wherein be finished fifth. It was won by the Epsom candidate Red 'Thespian. Boaulivro is unlikely to run in the autumn handicaps and probably will bo blistered. Ho may have bis first race in tho Rawson Stakes at Rosehill.
